Canada-based designer William McDonald has created the Peg Lamp. The minimalist task light was inspired by the traditional wooden clothes peg. The height and angle of the light can be easily adjusted using a simple mechanism. The arm that houses the LED strip is held in place by both the tensioned aluminum and cushioned friction of the felt.
