German company Osram designed a new table/reading lamp PirOLED. The lamp has 5 OLED ORBEOS discs which create a comfortable mood. Each disc can be individually adjusted to reveal variable, gentle lighting patterns. The light produced by the lamp is glare-free and the flexible distribution generates a harmonious work environment. The glare-free ORBEOS discs have a soothing effect, comparable to the warm light of a candle.
The design of the lamp was inspired by the pirouette, a ballet movement which elicits an impression of elegance, movement and flow. LEDs in the base reflector and the back reflectors of the discs allow lighting patterns to be adjusted as desired. Check out the pictures.
