When you look at the original version of this home and its ultimate updated look, you can see which elements are necessary to be updated in the process of renovation.
The amazing transformation of this private house located in Sydney, Australia, is the work of the architectural company “CplusC”. The team of “CplusC” decided to keep the original building that was in good condition and restore its exterior as well as interior spaces.
Covering an area of 224 square meters, the house with dark interior, was transformed into a home with open and fluid interior with large glass windows and doors that merge with the exterior. Instead of separated and tight spaces, now the living room, kitchen and dining room are spacious and merged.
In the process of renovation, the architects created a space with an effective penetration of sunlight and heat as well as natural ventilation that further revives the interior.
In the renovation of the façade, some places have uncoated red bricks from the original building, while the others are covered with white paint. Also, some parts of the façade are made of cypress in order to create a stronger and more resilient structure.
