Situated in the heart of the small village of Anacapri on the enchanting Italian island of Capri, the hotel Caprisuite has an amazing panoramic view of the picturesque island scenery. The village is marked by family houses and historical buildings with specific white architecture and classic Italian charm.
This small hotel consists of two fully equipped modern hotel suites, which are actually part of the space of the old island monastery S. Micheles built in the 17th century.
Its architecture and design make the hotel a blend of the past and the present. The hotel suites named Blueroom and Yellowroom are decorated in a luxurious contemporary style, but the interior still keeps the echoes of the old island architecture and the past life of the monastery.
The interior, designed by “Zeta Studio”, kept the original monastery walls and semicircular arches of pure white stone, which is authentic architecture of Capri and it is refreshed by contemporary furniture and decor in yellow and blue. The architects retained the basic, almost ruined architectural aesthetics of the old monastery and gave it a contemporary flavor with a choice of luxurious pieces of furniture and decor from contemporary designers.
