The old industrial factory “Danilovskaya Manufactory” in Moscow, Russia, some time ago was transformed into a complex with commercial and residential units designed by a group of renowned designers and architects.
The remodeling and conversion of the interior of the old factory was an opportunity for architects to develop interior concepts, using their modern design skills and at the same time to preserve valuable historical features of the building.
The result is a complex with modern contemporary interiors in which they preserved bits of the history of the industrial factory. One example is the apartment with an area of 40 square meters with essential features of the original factory – wall surface with exposed brick and visible installation.
The small apartment is designed as an open space without internal barriers in order to give spaciousness and freedom. Besides the spa, which is the only space separated by walls, other spaces are linked and create a harmonious cohesion at home. The architects added modern details in order to capture the contemporary style.
