V Shelves by Outofstock

Barcelona-based design studio Outofstock has designed the simple book storage furniture called “V Shelves”. The laminated plywood shelf features a gentle “v” shape at one end which can be used to display an open book. It also acts as a bookmark. The shelf is fixed to the wall using two wall fixation components that resemble books in shape and size, creating an illusion of a floating shelf. These wall fixation components also act as bookends/dividers.
