Impeccable elegance and refined luxury permeate the interior of this London home. The house has an interesting story – it is located in an old courthouse in West Kensington in London, in a building constructed in 1908.
The renovated courthouse project by the architectural studio “Sigmar” is breathtaking, standing as an artistic masterpiece which intertwines classic, vintage and modern elements. The house covers an area of 240 square meters on two floors, the first of which houses the living room, dining room and kitchen, and on the second floor – three spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.
The architects were playing with colors and contrasts in order to give the space noble, refined character. The range of colors and shades oscillate between gray and blue tones in the bedrooms against the bright white walls and wood furniture pieces, and dark green shades in the living room, dining room and kitchen. The old court chairs were replaced with design classics.
