This modern loft with dark tones and modern, elegant aesthetics is located in the dynamic Brazilian metropolis of São Paulo. Decorated with retro-modern furniture and industrial elements, dark tones that give weight to the space, the loft perfectly fits the rapid modern lifestyle of the owners. The loft has an area of 105 square meters and went through a detailed reconstruction by the architect Diego Revollo.
Revollo mainly focused on opening the previously closed and stuffed interior, creating several spacious rooms where the owners can enjoy in the home atmosphere. The biggest challenge for the architect was to transform it into a spacious and open loft.
The colors were carefully selected to resemble the natural shade of the concrete and to be modern, but not too harsh and cold. The wall surfaces, ceiling and floors are gray and the wooden elements were intentionally added because the material balances the cold atmosphere and makes the interior warmer and more appealing.
Concrete was used in several places, such as the sink and the bathtub, which give an interesting and modernist look.
