Elegance, industrial style and retromodern aesthetics are found in this spacious, exciting interior of this apartment located in Williamsburg.
The spacious loft with a luxurious chandelier hanging along the old old-fashioned industrial pipes was designed by Elizabeth Roberts, who created this unique space for a creative couple.
After years of searching for the perfect place to live, the couple, a professional chef and a sculptor, encountered this spacious industrial space, large enough for living and working in special studies for both of them.
Half of the space is transformed into an art studio, while the other half is a convenient working space with a huge kitchen. The architects came up with an easy way to open and close the working space to the other rooms with moving sunshades, with which the studio and the study room can be completely isolated for work in silence and privacy, or semi or fully open for socialization.
The original wooden columns and ceiling are preserved, which at the same time enrich the minimalist white space, but also add to the industrial charm of the interior. The couple chose furniture in retro-modern style, with interesting, exciting colors that bring energy and playfulness between the white walls.
