London-based design brand Minimalux will launch its first lighting product Bulb during the London Design Festival this week. The design of the table lamp is based on the familiar incandescent light bulb. The lamp is made from hand blown opal glass with a machined brass stem and cable entry. An energy efficient, compact fluorescent light source is used for illumination.
In designer’s words, “The lamp is fully compliant with a varied and fast changing array of energy saving light bulbs, whilst housing them in a form that subtly reminds us of their heritage and evolution.”
