The Alps are rich with creative architecture, whether it is traditional or contemporary. Despite all interesting ideas, however, perhaps the most unusual is the idea of the hotel Null Stern, which consists of only a comfortable bed in the open, under the stars, surrounded by pristine Alpine scenery.
This hotel “room” in the open is located 1900 meters above sea level in the Swiss Alps in near the canton Graubinden. The room is unique, consisting only of a bed, a chest with drawers and a lamp. The natural beauty, blue skies and bright stars are “only” decor in this extraordinary hotel. You do not have to worry if other guests are loud, the only thing you hear around you is the sound of nature.
Those who decide to take this step don’t have to give up comfort because the owner of the hotel offers a butler who will bring breakfast in bed and basic needs such as a public bathroom 10 minutes away.
Although the whole idea is simple, this stay in the Alps is not cheap. This luxury will cost you about 190 euros per night, and can be rented during the summer, spring and fall.
