Openness, comfort and relaxed atmosphere is prevalent in this minimalist and neat apartment in Budva, Montenegro. Designed by the architectural studio M3 Architectural & Construction Group, this spacious home is a comfortable nest of a young IT engineer who lives in the seaside town along the Adriatic Sea.
The apartment is open and spacious, not stuffy and closed with walls, but with little wider pillars and curtains. Dominated by neutral colors, contemporary, simple and comfortable furniture and the decor is minimal and almost non-existent. The neutral colors like gray, white and beige for the walls and furniture and the natural materials create a relaxing, zen atmosphere for complete relaxation in the comfortable space. Designers selected a minimalist approach to offer a more relaxed atmosphere, but also to allow the main focus in the space to be the view of the sea.
The kitchen, dining, living and office share an open space and can easily be divided and separated from each other by long curtains from the ceiling to the floor. The kitchen and dining room are connected with an interesting design trick – a bar and a work area in the kitchen that extends into a dining table.
The living room is relaxed with a comfortable sofa in gray tones, wooden coffee table and a contemporary fireplace. The bedroom is set in a different room in order to offer privacy, but designed in an equally minimalist style with simple colors, furniture and decor.
